Classic Hunts with Lee Hawes

               

As you probably have surmised by brilliant observation; Classic Hunts, the television show, that has been running on The Sportsman Channel (digital cable) and on The Pursuit Channel (Direct TV) has done the unthinkable. That is, we have spun the TV show into a print publication. I know, it is usually the other way around. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, I have never followed the regular crowd’s script. It was to me rather unfortunate that after being in an exotic location and having all kinds of adventures, it had to be wrapped into a 21.5 minute episode. Never mind the fact that I may have been on location for a bloody week. Print actually gives the opportunity to be more dimensional. You may or may not see all the detail in a brief video glimpse but you can certainly picture the charging mountain grizzly as her hair stands up on her neck and saliva trickles thru her popping teeth as she locks on and comes for Daddy. See what I mean? Anyway, this won’t be the glossiest or biggest or get the publication of the year award at the SHOT show. However, you will be able to share some of our journeys.

Throw another log on the fire, pour yourself a cup of tea (Earl Grey, I presume), kiss the Missus on the way back to your easy chair and come with me on a great adventure
